Buzzlr aggregation system is improved. We are trying to make faster & stable our aggregation system, and now it is great.

We added Facebook like feature, so now you can connect with your facebook account, share the stories you like on facebook and like them..

We improved rankings of the stories, so you can find more popular stories easily.

There are several changes on buzzlr since our last post. The major one that you can see is buzzlr url shortener. We’ve been using bit.ly url shortener for internal links on buzzlr, but for several reasons we decided to make our own shortener and integrate it on buzzlr.

The other changes are mostly to speed up the website load time and few bug fixes. We are trying hard to reduce load time of buzzlr to provide a better experience to you. We hope you are not facing frustrating things on buzzlr, but if you are, please contact us so we can fix that for you.

We basically update buzzlr once at night and once ay afternoon, and this will be much more in future. (it’s not gonna took so much, we promise!)

ok it’s been more than 1 month and here is the latest updates from buzzlr.

We are still in beta stage that means we find bugs (surprised?).

We are trying to make faster buzzlr with several methods.

We add comment and buzzlr button functionality recently.

We’ll add more social buttons to the stories soon, like tumblr etc. Currently there are facebook, twitter and send email.

If you wonder any stats about buzzlr, in February more than 20.000 unique visitors (includes buzzlr button), and more than 40.000 page views. It’s not big deal but not bad for a 2 months website.

That’s all for now. We know we should write more but making buzzlr better keeps us very very busy.

Ok couldn’t wait for the post and said in title. You can comment on every story now at buzzlr.com. We got some feature requests from you and according to these features, we added commenting feature.

All you have to do taking a buzzlr account, it’s only 30 secs really!, and start adding comments on stories you like/dislike.

It’s been a while since our last post, but we have really good reasons..

The first thing is beta buzzlr.com is going very well, thanks to you. We got really great feed backs and just one time we had an issue, but thats ok right?

Since launching buzzlr beta stage, we have added a buzzlr button functionality to our web service. You can see it at here. Add the button to your website and let your visitors can easily give you rating and view your site at buzzlr.

We got lots of questions about mainly two topics and we’ll gonna try to explain these in the later posts. The questions are about the calculation of overall rating of a webpage and the speed of the update rate of buzzlr. Briefly, when overall rating of a webpage is calculating, we consider if it is on homepage of other social bookmarking websites, what is its rating and more. Why the speed of update rate is slow on buzzlr, the reason is its on beta stage now and we update the web pages at couple of hours and maybe once in 24 hours. This update rate will be higher soon, and its not big deal for us, but its a strategic decision for now, just in case!

We are working hard to build the first version of buzzlr, and we are about to go public!

So lets start the question/answer part..

What is buzzlr?

All of us are using social bookmarking websites for a long time like digg, delicious.

We noticed that finding really great content on internet is getting hard day by day. So we thought about a website which collects most popular stories from best websites and displays them to users according to stories’ overall popularity. Wouldn’t it be great?

Thus buzzlr.com was born according to this idea.

As usual, when you have a story, you buzz it up @ buzzlr.com, Your link will get (up) and (down) votes from users.

Ok so, What is the difference of buzzlr?

The difference is quite new and exciting.

In addition to classical social bookmarking service, you will see how many tweets your story gets and the popularity of your story at digg, delicious or at another social website.

Buzzlr collects the most popular stories on the internet every hour, and displays them according to the overall popularity of stories on the other websites.

This means you can always see and vote the buzz content on the buzzlr.
